Trust & Safety
Trust is the foundation of our work. We build with child-safety, privacy and data minimisation in mind, and we follow school safeguarding processes during pilots. Below is a high-level summary of our approach; full policies are available to verified partners on request at admin@theemotionalhealthhub.com
Safeguarding
We design for children’s wellbeing and safety. We use age-appropriate language, minimise data collection, and follow school safeguarding processes during testing (consent, supervision, escalation routes). Staff and partners are briefed on safeguarding duties. Full policies are available to schools, partners and stakeholders on request.
Privacy
Pre-launch, we keep data collection to a minimum. Website analytics (where enabled) are aggregated, and any sign-up forms clearly explain what information is collected and why.
We do not publish children’s personal data. When piloting with schools or other organisations, data is processed under written agreements, using the least amount of personal data necessary for the task and retained only for as long as required.
A full Privacy Notice explains how personal data is handled and the rights of individuals whenever personal data is collected: Privacy Notice.
Data Protection
We apply UK GDPR principles: lawfulness, fairness & transparency; purpose limitation; data minimisation; accuracy; storage limitation; integrity & confidentiality; accountability. Security includes restricted access, encrypted storage and secure transfer. Data-subject rights requests can be made via admin@theemotionalhealthhub.com. Full Data Protection Policy available on request.
Access to Policies
Relevant policies (Privacy Notice, Safeguarding Policy, Data Protection Policy, Data Protection Impact Assessments for pilots) are maintained by The Emotional Health Hub and are shared on request with schools, partners and stakeholders. Email: admin@theemotionalhealthhub.com
